Stone Breach

Overview

The goal was to design a mobile experience for a Dark Fantasy
game that blends Strategic Dungeon Building with High-Octane
ARPG Combat. My focus was on balancing high-end visuals with accessibility,
creating an intuitive and immersive user journey. I developed
comprehensive user flows through wireframes and finalized key
high-fidelity screens to establish the visual direction.

Core Loop

The game is a mobile experience centered on a core gameplay loop of raiding player-created dungeons while strategically constructing and upgrading personal defenses to withstand enemy attacks.

Planning

Before diving into high-fidelity visuals, I mapped out the core
structure. The goal was to identify all necessary screens and then
break them down into cohesive, frictionless user flows.

Wireframes

The following wireframes outline the primary game flows and core user journeys, detailing the navigation and interaction logic across the experience.

Look & Feel

The visual identity was crafted to convey the game’s dark fantasy
theme. I utilized medieval-inspired typography and a specific color
palette to create a consistent and atmospheric interface.

Below are the character selection interface designed to establish the game’s atmosphere and visual identity.

HUB – Attack Tab

The offensive management interface where players can unlock and upgrade skills, customize their inventory, and equip minions to provide tactical support during raids.

HUB – Defend Tab

A comprehensive dungeon-building suite featuring mobile-optimized controls for placing rooms, traps, enemies, and decorations. This section includes a battle log for monitoring defense performance and reviewing win/loss history.

Gameplay – Attack

The active combat phase where players first navigate a map to select their next target and then attack! The UI incorporates mobile-optimized movement and skill triggers, complemented by essential HUD elements such as health bars, currency counter, and settings.
